Founded in 1978, Tomex established a research department in 1993 and opened a new laboratory. In 1994, with the introduction of the first material with a small coefficient of friction, branded products, already distinguished by their innovation in the braking system, began to take their place in the market. The brand, which went down in history as the first ISO 9002 certified company in Poland, has in fact formed a leading position in the country since 1998. With the acquisition of European approval (ECE R-90) in 2002, the short European rose to the forefront of the auto parts market.

Tomex, which has been manufacturing brake systems for trucks since 2005 with the acquisition of the PN-EN ISO 14001 certificate, has also introduced the Brexel brand to the market since that year. The company’s products are subject to continuous inspections and quality tests at all stages of production: from the purchase of raw materials used in production to the mixing, pressing and processing of finished products, specialists are the main investment of TOMEX. The company has all the necessary certificates and approvals for the production process and has a production of high quality, reliability and warranty. In 2016, the TRIBO system reached a large production capacity with the launch of a painting line and in 2017, the second fully automatic line for the production of brake pads.
